The Lair

We have a guy locally that has a jerry can mounted to the roof rack of his jeep. But he has it mounted upright. and it's the only thing up there, so it sticks out like a sore thumb. So he's driving around and it looks like he forgot his jerrycan on the roof like some people do their phone or their coffee.

He got real upset the other day when I asked him if he knew he could lay it down for a lower profile.

 

HOW ELSE ARE PEOPLE SUPPOSE TO SEE IT

 

Is the base small enough to go in the overhead console?

I truly didn't. Damn thing had tire shine on his 35s.

 

I’m not sure but I’m gonna mount in center console somewhere. I don’t want the mic cord dangling in my face.

 

Two coats down, 1-2 left to go. Sucks having to paint over a dark grey. Hard to hide it.

That was the color of Stewie, my previous tacoma. It’s a great color.

That means that the jerry can was more than likely empty.

 

All done. Will put on mirrors tomorrow and mount them.

 

Put on or rip off?

 

Well the drivers side mirror is coming off my truck and going on these doors, and it's halfway ripped off. So that's something.

Why not get power folding mirrors?

 

Weather permitting, I'm going to run them camping this weekend!

 

That sounds expensive to replace when I rip them off. The basic aftermarket ones are only $35 each.
