UPS is officially a shit show at the moment (said by a few UPS employees). I got one of my deavers earlier in the week and the other one is sitting in a huge warehouse among thousands of backlogged packages. They were shipped together though :annoyed:.

I decided I'll just do the BAMF hanger install and leave my truck on Jack stands till I get the other leaf, likely early next week.

Randy can you break down your steps and any tips on the hanger install?

@EatSleepTacos can you get a close up of your kayak cradle on your crossbars when you get a chance. I got one of the $50ish ones on Amazon and don’t know if I like how it sits on the rack, but if you are using something similar I might roll with it for a bit.

I’m thinking about either building a new mount for the cradle I got or just returning it and building my own setup specific to the 80/20 bars.

yep! Looks like the same setup on the ones I got. Is it pretty stable when it’s cranked down that tight?

Update: I want a softopper again. An open bed + east coast mud/rain + camping gear is a pain in the ass. I miss my dry storage.
