Not any more. I stopped hanging out on that side of town, and I have a special spray and brush now.

After this weekend I’m definitely adding a low height hoop. I was terrified of bumping into a tree and breaking my new lights. I’ll clock the hoop forward a little so it’s the farthest forward thing.

Ok Y'all, so I want some help deciding on the rear brake light for my cap.

Long story, the OEM was taking on water. The replacement didn't fit the best and was also taking on water. So now I want to ensure I never have to worry about water again.

I've narrowed my choice to two different types of lights. Neither are OEM. Both are DOT, and waterproof. A key feature is that unlike the OEM light, both are dual circuit lights. They act as a running light (red) at a reduced output until the brake is applied then they operate at full output. So instead of just two wires, there are three. The other benefit of this is that I can use that 3rd constant hot wire to install my switched interior lighting.

    # 1 - the cheaper of the two choices. The length is damn near exact as the recess width. The height could be higher but it's so close it's negligible.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/303575077712

    # 2 - this nearly 4x as much. It is only 6.25" overall and it's definitely going to look odd. The overall height is perfect. I like that it's adjustable.

Thoughts please. I want to place my order asap.
