I’m getting $7100 tax free this semester thanks to the VA. I’m taking 3 classes, 12 credit hours.

Wow. For eight week classes at half time I was only getting $800. Things must have changed again?

I'm have a 16 week semester and the stipend is based off how many credit hours you're taking as well as where you're located. It's E5 BAH with dependents. 12 credit hours you get 100%, and fewer hours get a proportionate amount of that, with the lowest being 7 credit hours. So for me, $1650 is the full BAH plus a semesterly $500 towards books.

Mine was pretty much the same. This was for one of my graduate programs, so it was a hair weird.

For whatever reason, shop labor was $135 an hour vs $100 an hour from a month ago so the quote is a little more, but whatever. It'll be $1,269 + shipping, which is about $50. I'm going to pull the third this weekend and drop it in the mail on Monday.

No, he said they don't offer that as an option. So I'll just hope I don't have seal issues. At least if I do, they'll take care of me.

Order placed for my single ARB compressor. I bought from polyperformance which has no tax, free shipping, and a military discount, bringing the total to $275 shipped.

I had the No Slip, now have the Lock Right. No Slip was much less noisy and much more pavement friendly, but 100% better off road. It hasn't thrown its springs into the R&P yet either causing it to grenade.
No clue what the mileage was on the No Slip or when recommended rebuild is/was. I blame the locker, not driveshaft deflection, because I've definitely hit my driveshaft before and it didn't happen sooner. Then my brain says metal fatigue.

Wait a second, what happened? That was a little hard to follow lol. You had the no slip and it grenaded your rear diff?

Potentially so. When I pulled the ring off (to drive for months in 2 wheel fwd) and got the locker out, most the springs were completely gone. What was left where they belonged, were very worn or partial-length springs.

When I first drained the diff after the initial Ka-BOOM on the interstate at 75mph and clickity clacking all the way home, I thought I was seeing little curls of metal. Turned out they were parts of the springs.
Either the springs got into the teeth meshing and did it. Or I deflected my driveshaft enough, without major dents in it mind you, to cause the pinion to gouge 4 teeth.

Last time I drained my rear diff there was a partial piece of a spring on it so this just confirms my choice to ditch it and get a selectable before anything bad happens.
