I got the coupon in my email and was thinking of doing the same thing. I've been wanting a new one for a while. I outgrew it a long time ago. Been eyeing a pretty blue one.

 

I want the shiny green one and matching top piece.

Yes, if I can find someone to go with me. I’m not sure how it’ll work with a 300 lb chest, like if they’ll help me load it or not.

 

My HF store has always helped me load the big stuff. They usually call someone from the back to help.

 

That’s good to know. I would assume there’s a system in place for larger items.

 

They should. If not, they sell those scissor lift carts! They'll change your life!

 

The one I'm looking at is the 72-inch work chest or whatever they call it. It won't fit in the bed of my truck, so I'll have to get a trailer to get it home. And when I get home, I have no idea what I'm going to do. My driveway is gravel and I had a pretty high lip to get into my garage. I'm sure my wife will be all for watching me screw something up.

 

Unloading will be the fun part for sure. I’ll have to have a few friends come over to help unload it, so we’ll just mask up and hope we don’t crush ourselves.

That was a fun day. And just to add to the entertainment: that's a Snap-On toolbox. Completely ruined. The rest of the evening got way better (sarcasm).

It did. At least it was around 15 years by that point. By that point had made it cross-country twice, survived in storage for two years or more and was home for a few minutes.....

Mcgeorge Toyota sent me a new radio surround and was able to put it in this morning. Much nicer not having any holes near the ac controls.

 

Damn. Really stepping up in the world. First carpet, now this?!?

 

My interior looks like it rolled off the assembly line 16 years ago now!
