Just jerkin' your chain. I know 100% where you're coming from. Glad to know it's not just me who can't prioritize time to do anything for myself. It just doesn't work like that with a lil' homie at home.

Not at all. I wish my wife had literally any hobby so we could each have hobby time and strike a balance, but she doesn't. Rona makes it hard too to give her alone time away from the house, like shopping at target or something. So I feel guilty about spending time in the garage. I balance it out by giving her a night a week where I don't wake her up to help with feedings. Lil george only needs 2-3 feedings a night anyways so it's not difficult.

No concern with the weight pressing sideways on the bobbed bed (riveted composite bedside etc)?

Nope, but I'll keep an eye on it. It's a fairly light set up. 95lb tent and 30 lbs of bed bars.

edit: the rearward bar would be very easy to tie into the frame since the bed bolts are directly beneath it. Maybe I'll tie into the frame right there to add rigidty near the bobbed portion. The front of the bed is a lot less susceptible to spreading I'm sure.

And the rock solid weight of a slumbering Randy!

I just have some recollection of you saying that you’d recommend tying a RRT to the frame in a bobbed bed.

Same. I always feel guilty, just cause the bulk of duties fall on momma biologically. A lot of it's self-induced though. Like I don't need to feel guilty when I have to go cut grass for 2 hours. But I do. Maybe because those 2 hours feel so god damned sweet.....

I'd mentioned it before, and I probably still should, but I have to validate my decisions and change my stance :cookiemonster:

    See my edit above though.

Circle is the bed bolt. I can have a tube come straight down and some 1/8 plate with a hole that’ll grab onto the bed bolt. Easy peezy and no bending. Should only take a couple of hours to add.

Make some corner gussets for the front of the bed like ATH makes I have them and they suprisingly added a lot of rigidity.
