I do the same thing like WTF. I remember being in school watching this shit and the new then interceptor missiles hitting the missiles launched by Sadam. It was a totally different time. I remember having to do nuke bomb drills. Like WTF were our desks made of back then because we hid underneath them for every drill it seemed. We also sang the natl anthem and did the pledge at the beginning of the school day a flag was hung in every classroom and the teachers demanded respect not asked for it nicely.

I disappear to fight some terrorism and this is what happens. SMDH.

Not that I want to take away a Bronze Star from anybody, but they were handing them things out like candy to officers in Iraq. It's the "V" device that perks me up.

    And the Silver Star......

Here's a place to search. Although the database isn't complete because it didn't pull up a few in the family names that I know have awards to their service jacket.

Not to jump in.... but to piggy back off @Gunshot-6A , Oracle lights dot com has the lighted whips as well. both 4 and 6 footer multicolor. They even have a chase light, not sure if it's worth a damn tho.

    Agreed to a point.

With out getting political.... Just seeing it through my eyes in person. Speaking on Iraq 04-05 time frame. Many Enlisted (Army, E-7 up) were given the "B" as well for just doing their job. the SSGT. (E6) and below were earned in my opinion. To me that was cut line so to speak. The Valor, "V" device is a separate award, and can be awarded on several different medals.

Again, Not to take away for anyone.. Just my opinion. And in no way shape or form is one better than the other.
