Morning and happy labor day, gents. I need your recommendation for a torque wrench. I've been meaning to get one but haven't gotten to it yet. I don't want to break the bank. Just looking for a decent one. Thanks in advance.

The one I bought from Habor Freight has served me well over the years. I think I only paid 10 of 15 bucks for it on a sale.

Morning! I have to work tonight as well (back on night shift for a couple weeks). I also recommend the HF wrench for the occasional use. When I feel like being proper, that's what I use.

Well... I was hoping to install my front suspension but half way through my knee that I just had repaired buckled... Now my truck is sitting on jack stands front tires are off sway bar is disconnected and I'm now on the couch unable to walk, does anyone know if roadside assistance would come to a garage?

Are you trying to put your truck back together? To get the swaybar off you have to drop the stock "skid plate" and take off a couple supports, and it falls right out. If you can't walk, I'm sure you could call AAA or something and have them put it back together for you.

Everything is back together except the sway bar, I'll hobble down to the garage and drop the skid and supports

4 12mm bolts and 7 17mm bolts (maybe 19mm) and it'll come right off! Stay safe man.

I'd say get one that torque more than 150 lbs. front axle nuts are 173, and you may need to torque it when you'll change a front bearing (I hope not, but it could happens) so I bought one that goes up to 250lbs

I took mine off without dropping skid. It would have been easier to drop the skid but Im stubborn.

I do that sometimes. I'll avoid doing something to make my task at hand "easier" but in the end it makes it twice as hard and takes just as long.
