The steelies are 48lbs but I also need to keep an offset as close as possible to what I have now. Several of my top choices like yours only come in the really aggressive offsets. There are a couple that are only 31 lbs which I'm really interested in and the KMC tank is ~34 lbs. I'm trying to be around the ~115 range with 37s so tire selection is key too.

What’s weird is these are advertised as 33.8 lbs so I’m unsure where the extra 6 lbs comes from. Probably a combination of the bolts and wheel weights that were on there. That’s the only thing I can think of.

    Top choices
    Black Rhino Rift
    33
    Fuel D120
    37lbs
    Fuel Anza D116
    34lbs
    KMC Tank
    33lbs
    Dirty Life Roadkill
38lbs with ring and hardware (per emails)
    Dirty Life DT-2
    36lbs ring and hardware
    Dirty Life Mesa
    (comes out this year)

Maybe IDK I'm going based off advertised weights the first one listed is on the heafty side. I'm pretty sure most left the hardware and rings off the weight listed to make it seem lighter. Damnit now I can't remember which one was like 30lbs or find it. I've been looking and figuring and trying to decide on the look I like for like 3 months now. One big plus on the KMCs is the drain holes in the rings

That, and the dual valve stem. Let’s you just drop in powertank monster valves. You seen those? Let’s you air up a 40” tire at like 1 psi per second. It’s unreal. They figured out the stock valve stems are the choke point so they designed their own. I’ll get them eventually.

Why not buy a Milwaukee impact driver with OneKey? You can set 3 seperate torque values with +/-5ft-lbs accuracy. Then you can speed through the 3 different tiers and do a final check by hand. :notsure:

    Ummmmmmm mebbe seen them :anonymous::spy:

There is another company that has a similar valve stem but you don't have to drill out the valve stem hole. All the monster valves are doing is similar to going to the large stem size that they use on larger AG, OTR, and OHV construction equip.

Other company with similar product but uses regular stem size hole.

That’s too large of a margin of error for my liking. These are only getting torqued to 23 ft lbs. especially being something so incredibly critical.

Doubt it, not enough to make a real difference. I’ll just cut more out of the way if needed.

you don’t have to drill out for the monster valve either, at least on the kmc wheels. I wish I had the money for them right now so I could install as I swapped tires around. Would save future Randy effort.

Ok different product than the video you posted . Haven't seen the new ones like that yet. I'll stick to a rubber stem sticking up like that and keeping a colby valve set on hand much cheaper if it gets broken. Seen several stems get knocked off in that position both rubber and TPMS. The original where you are drilling a hole and such you can tuck it into a spoke area and protect it.

Wait until you get the wheels in hand. There’s zero chance it’s getting knocked off, it’s incredibly tucked away. And I was sharing the video to show what monster valves are and how they work to anyone else reading along.

Actually you can kinda see it here. It’s a good couple inches deep and also hidden by the ring once installed.

I dunno, I don’t see the resemblance. Looks too clean. Maybe if there was a bunch of dirt caked on the wheel it would be more comparable.
