Were you still rubbing the shock with the new wheels?

You can get some extended studs from O'reilly's pretty cheap. I'll see if I can't find the link someone posted but it gives all the specs of the knurled end and stuff so you could even cross reference to get longer ones if needed.

Bora and the ability to order pretty much whatever you need for spacers, adapters, etc. is awesome.

No but I knew I would. On my previous set up I had 1.25” rear spacers, so 3.6” effective backspacing and I rubbed. I went for 2” rear spacers, or 2.95” BS, and didn’t rub anymore. So I’m adding the 1/2” spacer to get back down to 3” BS.

I already have the SAE pros. :D

It was more about putting my sis in a bind trying to do her a favor.

I’m ditching my taco tabs and going back to normal alignment hardware. I never could get my alignment very good, and I also never really tried. I didn’t want to go back and forth to the alignment shop. So what I’m going to do is level out the front (raise the drivers side) and get my alignment dialed. Once I get that done, I’ll tack weld a portion of the alignment hardware to the truck. With how it’s designed, I’ll be able to remove the lca still and leave the piece of hardware tacked to the truck. I wish I did this from the get go. Much simpler and free.

Yeah, still not a fan. I want to make one trip to the alignment shop and that’s it. I wouldn’t expect the alignment shop to fuck with those things.

They won't. I think the goal is to install one at a time after alignment.

Doing a cmc on this tundra in the morning. Looks like my trucks younger brother who’s bigger because he plays football.

Your tires look so thick esp w the darker rings. Love it

I think it creates some odd optical illusion where the ring becomes one when the tire, making the sidewall look even bigger than it is. I love it.

Oh for sure 100%. This is something that I think EVERYONE loves about the fake beadlock SCS and other wheels, the black rings blend with the tire and always make it appear much larger. Your tires overall look very large with these wide beadlocks. Love that. Still waiting on a formal balance?

Yeah, I haven’t had a chance to take it in yet. I’m not in any big rush, should be happening early next week sometime. I wanted to make sure I had an opportunity to drive a little bit and retorque the rings before having them put them in a balance machine.
