Surprisingly it didn’t hurt getting smacked with the car.

The first one I bought was more hassle than it was worth so I cut my losses and bought a nice one that doesn’t need any tweaking. And man, this thing is so fun. Just gonna run it and enjoy it.

Why stop at 95?? Have you seen some of the speed runs on YouTube? I think the fastest I saw recently was around 200 mph!

Even better is when the jackass you're recovering guns it and melts teeth off to the point of borderline replacement. Thankfully, a race sponsor knew what went down and did me a solid.

Parts support is huge. That's why I am a Traxxas and Axial Fan boy. You can get on any website or walk into any hobby store store they 99 percent of the time will have the parts you need to get back up and running.

Yeah that was my issue. Could only buy replacement parts in store and it’s 30 min away. Huge pain in the dick since I kept breaking stuff after jumping to brushless motor and lipo batteries.

This was my last rc purchase. Does 70+ mph with 3s lipo in it. Bough it used.Replaced all the hardware with stainless steel and replaced about $12 worth of plastic parts that were worn out. I still need to get new tires. But they are backordered everywhere last time I looked. Have a set of drift tires to throw on it though.. Still lots of fun to drive though.

HPI, Losi, and Associated also have big aftermarket support and really good factory support they are more $$$$ though. I modded the mess out of my old Traxxas Slashes, HPI, and Associated SC truck.

Haha I honestly don’t. No modifications at all and using their recommended battery. I was driving it along and then it just wouldn’t go anymore.

Usually you see that kind of damage from overpowered setups...maybe it had poor gear mesh from the factory. But the what looks like a cracked drive cup has me confused...

When I started running 3s in my slash 4x4 (now converted to stampede 4x4) I would blow apart axles until I switched to the mip heavy duty axles. Haven't broken one since! :burnrubber:I did however just strip the hex on a nearly new set of $40 Proline Trenchers...:frusty::bananadead: gotta look at a 17mm conversion kit now since the prolines come with a bolt in hex hub in either 12mm or 17mm.

You guys keep posting all this RC damage. It reminds me why I stopped this hobby. You guys almost had me the other day. I started shopping...

Do it! It has become my kids and my hobby. Just bought my 7 year old a Stampede 4x4 (brushed) for his birthday because he wanted a truck just like dad's! He picked it really quick and I was able to take it out if training mode and let him run it at full rip. Only damage so far ( after we ran them at a motocross track at the local rodeo grounds after they completed competition before it was bulldozed) is a popped shock cap. Picked up some upgraded aluminum ones and some 40wt shock oil and he is back in business.

Fortunately, my kid is in her 20s and has no interest! I've dumped too much money into this hobby to jump back in. And I'm notorious for breaking stuff everytime I run.
