those are threaded style so that might be different. the 14" ones I got are on like the 2nd or 3rd notch, so I was wondering if it would work at the bottom notch. I'm just fixing problems that don't exist, but dangit, $20 is so cheap I'm really tempted to see how it'd ride.

Bought the trailer this morning. Tundra towed it with no problems so I’ll be curious to see how it does with another 5k lbs on it.

Betty is still stuck in the garage and the trailer is now safely stored at my friends house 20 min away. I’m hoping I can finish Betty up tomorrow. Once she’s dialed in, I’ll bring the trailer over and mess around with optimal loading and setting my weight distribution hitch. Maybe this weekend.

That looks really sweet, really nice work. That front bumper really looks mean

Thanks kris, I appreciate that. That bumper was my first round tube fabrication project and I’m pretty happy with the outcome.

That's great work for a home project. Wish I had that skill!

I bet man, just no worries on the trail about the hours of a drive back.

Off topic: Speaking of the trucks though I recently just received my rxt pack after reading all of the good you had to say about them. Relocate coming soon and I think I’m going to leave them on the option 1 setting. Will have soft topper and occasionally the bed loaded with minimum camping gear. I wanted to bring the rear down some. Right now as it sits unloaded with these awful Dakar’s it’s just too much.
    With the Dakar’s unloaded:

I had my rxt on option 1 for the longest time and I only just recently jumped to option 2. And of course now I want to go back to option 1 so I can remove the rtt for wheeling where I trailer it places. Anyways, what I’m getting at is option 1 is great and very comfortable and can still handle more weight than people think. As long as you’re ok with lower lift numbers. I was at 1.25” lift before I swapped to option 2.

Awesome, that’s good news and confirms my thinking. I would rather the lower lift especially if it’s going to smooth out the ride. I appreciate the info man looking forward to getting them on.

I was poking around on Carvana's website and there's a little dashboard for my purchase and a place to submit a claim if anything is wrong. I submitted a claim for the stain so we'll see what they say. Fingers crossed they'll cover a mobile detailer coming to my place and cleaning it. It doesn't bother me since there's a car seat on it, but may as well ask to see if they'll clean it before I try it myself.

Yessir that’s it. I had them add in the tubes to the sides of it. Awesome guys to work with.

I was thinking of doing a plate bumper, but tube with a few plates like yours isn't bad and saves on weight.... I'd also have the side tubes added.

Yes compared to some of the other bumpers I’ve been around it’s much lighter and just looks more sleek in my opinion. The side tubes have saved me more times than I can count already. I just put them on a little too late though… lol
