I'll never be a real overlander

 

Yeah, I wanted the blue BR6s but good luck finding some. So I bought some $800 Vors VE37s and will have them PC'd at some point.

 

It looks like its a GoPro mount coming out of the wheel well.

 

Shame.

I'm really glad these didn't exist when I bought mine. I really would have been tempted to put these on.

 

Just a grease spot on the L&N. Lots of respectable trucks been hit by trains.

I don't know how I have never run into you out and about. Your truck is so recognizable!

 

I'm generally east of the freeway based on home and work. Weekends I'm usually *gestures broadly* about.

 

Work takes me all over the valley, but on personal time I am usually west of the freeway...so that probably explains it.

 

I would definitely rock these on my truck if I could ever come up with the cash and actually get a hold of a set.

 

Yeah, I'm parked in a semi-sketch midvale industrial park during the day. Ships in the night I guess.

There's 2 similar ones I know of in the area, but the TRD Ivan stripes on the driver mirror are the giveaway.

 

So why are they committing suicide?

 

Chronic depression.

Feeling alone and let down because they don't have a semi-automatic self-loading spud gun mounted to the roof like was promised. An experience much like when their dad said they'd go to a baseball game as soon as he got back from the gas station for cigarettes.

 

But ironically the Army ship count outnumbers the Navy's last I was hanging out with some Sail Army guys back at the run gange...
