Haven't penciled the date into the calendar yet, but when I do, the lair will be the first to be notified

    Updates on the heep?

Also, question, why do you have shoes on the floor if you obviously have a shoe rack?

The Jeep is sitting in that exact spot still. Unfortunately, I don't have any cool cars in the neighborhood to photobomb. Could put the lawn tractor in the background.. .

As far as the shoes you'd have to discuss that with the other residents. All of my shoes are securely on the shoe rack. While you're at it tell them to clean their mess

Randy (or other lair dwellers), I need help. My blower motor stopped working. Not the usual ign no 2 fuse. When I turn on the ac controls the ac light comes on but no fan. I have read a couple threads and am lost. Have no idea how to start troubleshooting it. I need my ac...it has been mid to upper 70s here the last few days.

If it were me I would start by visually inspecting the blower motor. Make sure it's clear of any debris. Then I would use a multimeter to check for voltage at the motor and make sure the connections are good. If the connections are good and supply the necessary voltage, it's probably the blower motor. If it's not, then it's somewhere upstream like a relay or something. Anyways, that's where I would start. Some people also recommend just smacking it and see if it starts back up

If you don't have a multimeter, they're inexpensive and invaluable when troubleshooting stuff. I would pick up a cheap one and learn the basics on it.

I did pull my cabin air filter to make sure it wasn't obstructed. Squirrel cage spun freely. I put a multimeter on the plug and ran the switch through all settings. Highest reading I got was 10ish volts. I suspect this is a problem. But don't know how to check relays etc.

    Found this diagram also

Heater relay seems to be clicking when the switch is turned off and on. Was going to try to switch it with the other one across from it, but can't get either one out. The engine noise also changes when the switch is turned on indicative of the ac compressor engaging.

This explains it well, I think. I’ve never tried to read ohm’s with a multimeter but you could give this a shot.

Ok...not the relay. Swapped it and problem remains. So that leaves me with blower itself (115), switch assembly(700 new, 160 from a wrecker), and blower motor resistor (40 with the new wiring and pigtail) All of which are pretty expensive

You could supply 12v right to the motor and see if it fires up, just a quick test.

Also this thread was thorough, ended up being chewed up wiring.

I'm dumb, how would I go about doing this?

Find a 12v battery, like a drill battery and use a couple of wires to send power to the motor

Smarter than I thought. Used the battery from my son's power wheels and rigeged something up. Blower motor is good.that leaves wiring, switch, or resistor. I looked under the hood and didn't see anything obviously damaged or abnormal.

Good work! But also damn, ruled out an easy fix, even if it wasn’t very cheap. The easiest way would be a second tacoma and swap in known good parts to try and narrow it down.
