He again responded quickly. He would knock $200 off the kit. But I can't find one. They are listed as in-stock on Texas Speed and Summit, but say they ship direct from supplier...which I seriously doubt actually has any.

I was poking around too just now and I'm not seeing anything anywhere. With summer quickly approaching, I would just hop on the setrab personally. I would also get a scangauge to monitor temps because it also aids in the installation of the cooler to do the fluid check easier.

Before I go too crazy, I am picking the truck up in the next few days. I don't remember specifically checking for a trans cooler because in ignorance I thought it was included in the tow package. The previous owner didn't seem to spare any expense, so maybe I will get lucky and it will have one of these kits already on it...

Picked up the new whip this afternoon! No trans cooler unfortunately, but looking fantastic none the less! Averaged 18.3 mpg on the drive home.

Thanks, we have been looking for the right truck for very long time!

I just switched to them today. To insure the Tahoe, Taco, and Tundie with 3 times the coverage I was carrying through my previous provider, it cost the same as I was paying for just the Taco and Tahoe with my old insurance! Doing the SafePilot app as well to knock it down even further.

I had four rock lights as bed bar lights so once I got rid of the tent, I gave the lights to my buddy Shawn. He came over last night and I wired them up, and I’m pretty impressed for only the four lights (versus the 12 I have on Betty white). One in front of each tire, one in the center of the truck and one above the rear axle.

Got my $147 eBay special tonneau in today. I’m honestly really impressed for the price. It not perfect because the bed isn’t exact shortbed dimensions, but it will do the job of sealing up the bed 95%

Have a link? It doesn't look too bad for only $147!

I've been very happy with USAA insurance wise as well.

Have either of you had to file a claim? If so, how did it go?

I know right?? I have the Tyger brand on the Tundra and the quality is a little nicer (it was around $240) but I knew I didn't need anything that nice on Betty, mainly because I wasn't sure how well it would fit on the bobbed bed. If you go to the sellers profile, they offer them for a multitude of trucks.

I've filed multiple claims. Auto and homeowners. Perfect? Not all the time, but if you let them know it'll get fixed

Yes, but I was the Hitee, not the hitter. Arranged to have my truck inspected at a shop very close to my place, got my rental squared away without a fuss, and was prompt on handling all of the checks to the body shop (LHM collision in Orem, Kelsey the repair manager was a rockstar). Didn't give me an ounce of grief on replacing a Baja designs fog light that got damaged as well, just had to provide the receipt. They were even cool and accepted the shops quote of a color matched grill instead of a 1:1 replacement chrome grill, all OEM parts too.

Only thing I was a frustrated with was I had the "pickup truck" category of rental car coverage option selected, and that rate when I went to use it only got me a full size car rental, not the truck class. They gave me some explanation and it never quite made sense to me, so I was on the hook for like $10 a day difference out of pocket.

Overall, I'd say 8.5/10 only cuz of the rental thing.

Not really. A couple of glass chips, which is all self service on their site, that was easy. I had one chick back into me in a parking lot like a decade ago so I contacted USAA but they had me just go through her insurance.

My homeowners claim was for a leaking dishwasher. They immediately called a restoration joint and got the ball rolling. They even took Whirlpool on without our prompting, got their money back and our deductible.

Auto-wise I've never really had a problem. We had an adjuster that was not very responsive and not so great on the phone. Called customer service and we had a new adjuster the next day.

I've even had them get involved in an accident that was through the at-fault company. USAA stepped in and took care of everything and dealt with the other company.

Sure there are cheaper, but when you look at the nuts and bolts you get what you pay for. We've shopped around a few times and just ended up staying with USAA.

Can confirm, they were great on a Renter's claim when my U-haul got stolen during a DITY move from Seattle to LA and had a replacement value check in hand shortly after giving them the documentation they needed.
