oh its turning technique and mostly nerd stuff. Jug handling is swinging wide before turning, and button hooking is going deep into the intersection and swinging wide after turning. Button hooking is technically safer because it doesn't expose the inside. Because of the geometry of the bendy bus, the trailer is actually pulled away from the curb the sharper you turn, which negates the need for swinging wide beforehand.

pretty much just nerd stuff haha

We had one for awhile until Tony figured out how to get into it. It’s super nice though, you’ll love it.

I had something similar, but it chewed through batteries like crazy! I finally got rid of it and switched back to the old foot pedal style.

Been off the grid for a bit! Finally back trying to get into the swing of things....I love the Tundra more and more every time I drive it (until I have to put gas in it...)

I really needed to get away...Work has been crap and the kids have been keeping us on our toes. My 2 year old broke both bones in his right arm about a week ago. We go in Thursday to have a cast put on...he is such a trooper it took us a few days to realize something was seriously wrong (more than just sore)and get him in to see the Dr. We took him last Wednesday and they initially diagnosed it as a buckle fracture and put him in a brace. But the radiologist the Dr comsulted with saw something they missed and called us a few hours after our Dr appt and told us to schedule an appt to get it cast because the brace wasn't adequate with the severity of the facture...

She is tucked safely in the garage...buried in crap...and will likely be sold soon. Haven't used it since March 2020...

Kids didn't enjoy it and my wife decided she would rather have a dirt bike.

And here I was thinking about the jughandle intersection mess they've got up in NJ!!!!!!!
    Aka...No Left/U Turning at intersections.

WARNING Greg Story - I experienced it the first time I drove into NJ on their state highways. I was like 23, going to visit friends from the North East that I went to college (including a wedding in New Hampshire). So I was running low on fuel and knew you FILL UP in NJ because it was always way cheaper than in NY, CT and MA, and of course EVERY gas station was on the opposite side of the highway (it was like 12am on a weekday), and finally I saw someone pull of and hook around to the left in order to end up at the intersection light, and that solved that!

Thankfully I only encountered the Type A jughandle turns...having gone to college with a bunch of NJ kids who didn't know how to pump gas in their vehicles, I had to show some of them how it was done, but none of them every mentioned these jughandle turns!

The implemented something similar here in a congested area. People were balking at it until they realized that it worked to reduce congestion. No left turns, gotta go through and make a U turn.

Repurposed some scrap bits I had laying around into a mirror mount for my drivers side door. In VA you’re only required to have two mirrors and one must be a driver door one, so my driver door and windshield rear view will suffice. I won’t normally run a mirror on the trail but I wanted this as an option to be street legal ish (and safe ish) for when I take Betty to parking lot meets.

So any super 3rd gen part number guru's wanna best multiple dealership parts employees for finding this damn exhaust/transfer case heat shield flange bolt?!?!
    53446.jpg 53448.jpg 53447.jpg

Had two different dealership parts guys provide me with the same, but wrong P/N, for this thing...yeah I ordered two.

Now I'm working with another one, who at least asked me to text him pictures of the shield and the remaining bolt! He said they can't even find this part after half a day of searching/talking to coworkers, but is still trying to find the p/n.
