We have a fastenal, but they are closed to the public. I really don’t understand what they’re doing unless they just service corporate accounts now and make deliveries.

 

At a local ace hardware but McMaster is great too.

Checked McMaster. Apparently $8/each is the going rate. Seemed high so I thought I’d make sure I wasn’t missing something. The local HD sucks for bolt selection, but there’s an Ace opening up around the corner from my company so maybe they will have a better selection.

 

I may also be making this up and the supplied bolt may have been long enough.

 

Ain’t no thang. I can’t think for myself any longer. My brain is toast. I’ve been breaking bead ring bolts putting my new wheels together and finally figured out why. Little bit of leeway in their manufacturing tolerances haha

 

Oh my, that’s impressively different

 

2 out of 5 were that thick. They’d work with ring spacers, but interco said they’d find two thinner ones and ship them to me and I could keep the thick ones. Can’t beat that. Gonna look like a tire warehouse in here though.

I didn’t know that, I’ll look into it. I miss just going in and grabbing something real quick. Guess that wasn’t worth their time which I get, but there’s nowhere else to get bolts like that in town.

 

As I understand it, the amount of time and effort (read: labor costs) for the low amount of walk in customers just didn't make sense to open them back up after the panini. Some to most of them do have 2-4 hours during the day that they do still have their doors open for walk ins.

 

Yeah people dropping in for thirty minutes getting a $0.25 bolt and charging it to their card makes it hard to justify haha

 

That damn panini fucked everything up.

might be easier on the tundra though since the wiring is already there.

 

I like it! I’ve got tow mirrors on the tundra so already covered there for mirror turns but I did consider it on Betty too. I like those euro style lights Dave posted earlier and might add some to Betty.

 

I'll be selling my DJI Mavic (1st Gen) sometime soon. Same reason.....

it sucks but best to sell sooner than later while the technology isn’t too far outdated.

 

I hear the used DTI market is artificially inflated. Better add some market value to that price.
