I'm not sure why I'm lurking lol I've been around since @fatfurious2 was buying cracked contractor caps and such.
I just don't post as regularly as some of the other guys.

Obviously not the best pic, but I got the rack mounted this morning. Stood in the center of one of the cross rails and it barely flexed, so I call that a win. All that's left is to add the decorative side pieces when they arrive to clean it up. Thanks again to @ERMB for posting this write up. Cost me ~$200 overall, which is less than half of a prinsu!

Damn right I do! I'm about to head to Home Depot to pick up some wood, so I get to put it to the test.

Looks great! I need to get some wire for my welder so I can start sticking some metal together for my truck.

Maybe the wife will be extra nice on my birthday and get me the jd2 tubing bender I've been eyeing. After all I'm gonna be the big 30

Thanks!! I wish I could weld. It would have saved a whole lot of money in hardware, and would've been lighter and more sturdy.

I'm loving it too! Just looks so rugged. Now I need to start mounting stuff up there.

Lumber test completed! Worst part was wrestling those 16' boards up there alone.
