Drop bracket lift and booger welds
Dual sport riding. The cost to fun ratio is unbelievably good.

Everything’s too damn far. Once we move west there’s a good chance I’ll buy a dirt bike again, that’s another good cost to fun ratio hobby.

Shackle flip and bumper are coming along nicely. I moved the shackle flip as far forward as I could to get the desired shackle angle and the ass is still sitting too high for my liking.

The bumper takes priority and if I have time, I’ll switch my leafs to option 1 which will take away some lift.

That tube is just a mock-up to show how tight and high it is to the body.

Seems like with that set up, you don’t gain a ton of clearance and in place of the hammer hangers, your leaf will take the impacts now, maybe I’m wrong. But I suppose it’s pretty easy to clamp a broken spring if that happens on the trail and drive out.

I do gain a ton of clearance. Crawlers have been doing this for decades so coming down in the leaves must not be of concern. The red lines is roughly where the hammer hangers were.

And while some lines on some pictures aren’t a prefect representation, I will gain departure angle too. When I measured in the past, the hammer hangers were the limiting factor.

Simple, lightweight and effective. Bumper is done minus paint.

I am going to attempt to add some tube that aligns with the bedside and wraps around under the taillight. It’s lower priority though.

Tube is a no go but I can make some plate covers instead. I’ll do this sometime soon, before my upcoming trip. I want to do it while the bumper is still raw steel.

Be careful driving that to cars and coffee in the future. Wrong cop gets behind you and you might get a new piece of paperwork...

Honestly, the bumper is the least of my concerns. My truck is a walking citation for a few reasons. My lights work, paperwork is up to date and I don’t drive like a dickhead so I’ll take my chances.

Ok fancy pants! Time to test your skills again... I am looking for replacement window and door lock controls (in black if possible) for all 4 doors if that exists. Wanting to swap out the now faded and discolored control boards that are in the truck.

Trick is, I honestly don't even know if this exists...

Also... I got excited too early. That turns up as a 2012-2015 switch panel... the 2005-2011 are all the nasty gray I am trying to be rid of. Unless you have found different...
