That’s awesome. I haven’t figured out the yoke drive shaft thing for the super dookie axles just yet, but hopefully I can do something similar to that.

All painted! Last minute added my rigid reverse pods to this one too. I wanted to try and do any welding while everything was still bare steel. 58A8661C-5BE7-4FE9-8AFC-086CCE5332B4.jpg24796BD7-EC00-48AA-A93D-87E29C442406.jpg9C8A4CB3-AAF4-4B19-8193-FDA794E2A8C4.jpgFB472312-B5C7-4753-9C27-57034B48790D.jpg

Why aren’t drive shafts like this in the first place? The metal is so damn thin. I just had to have my retubed.

Can we get more details on the real star of the show, the mountain bike off to the left on picture #1.

Looks to fancy for it to be a huffy.

I gotta admit you are one smart cookie Randall. I see what you did there! Your yard decor involves mostly stuff that can stay up for Fall/Thanksgiving. You take down the creepy spiders & you are set!

Color me impressed, the randyfab driveshaft is almost 1 lb lighter.

Maybe, but I like this solution a lot better. I don’t ever foresee hitting them on anything but if I do I’ll just move them. That’s the beauty of being the builder.

I deleted after the fact because I then looked closer and realized your shackles and leaves are right there anyway, so they'd be hit before the lights most likely I'm guessing. Bumper looks great. Real simple and clean. I like it.

My thoughts as well! I considered putting them in the tailgate but for now I’m happy with their spot. And thank you, I’m super happy with the outcome. I have a trip this weekend and I’m busting my ass to get all these changes done so I can enjoy them on the trail.

Oohhh, I like that idea (if needed down the line). If time allows, I want to try to embed ditch lights into my mirrors (versus mounting to hood brackets) like some 3rd genners have done. I like the embedding lights into the body/mirrors concept.

@WormSquirts was excited about the idea too and realized in the tailgate, you could have it open and the lights pointing downward for some nice unobtrusive camp lighting. Pretty slick idea.

I’ve seen some Land Cruisers (I think) have them in the mirror as well and it’s sweet.
