I’ve considered that too, a dual sport. Maybe one of each so I can have my cake and eat it too.

I may or may not have forgotten to mention in here that I’m adding a sound system to my totally stock tundra. DE4999DB-361C-479B-B734-93BC4946F3C5.jpg

Apparently! I’ve never heard of them but I guess they were one of the well known companies back in the 2000s.

The Not-A-Build Tundra is getting kinda buildy. There's hope for OP yet.

Further back than that. In the mid-90s they were high-line car audio. I believe they only made amps at the time. I had a gi-normous five-channel in one of my cars. Can't even remember which one. I wonder if they're still considered high-line. Seems all the good brands from that era sold out to some extent.

From what I gather they’re a solid bang for the buck reliable product, or at least the kit that I got is.

why not both? I love having both, and I agree you are missing some opportunities for some of the best coast wheeling. That’s basically the direction my build went, having the ability to take the truck to a remote location, setup camp as a base camp and further explore from there on the husky. Being a plated dual sport with dirt bike suspension and decent gearing means exploration options are endless.

I just don’t feel it’s necessary. The truck is a very expensive toy at this point, and I simply don’t need both. Having to pay for registration and insurance on it, having a 3rd vehicle to park as well as a trailer to store. It’s just all so expensive for something that will get used once every couple of months.

To expand on this, what makes Betty different is that she’s already a trail toy. She’s the one getting loaded up onto a trailer to go out and have fun in. I would never put a bike in the back of Betty white to go out and do what you describe, as much fun as that sounds. She’s just not built for that.

Makes sense, still would be nice to have two toys though. :p

We have a local guy. That has a pretty nice build of a 1st gen with a Flippac. He loads his bike on the back. Goes to a camp. Sets up basically a base camp and explores about with his bike. Something you can easily do with the Tundra. Granted he has more time as he is retired and a retired AZ Forest Ranger as it is. Wealth of knowledge of whats what and where.
