You're used to long trips up here for AOAA, let's do that. Can't be a worse time then spending all fucking day on Toyota Trap. :bananadead:

I've considered AOAA as well, I'm not against it at all. Uwharrie just seems dryer which I prefer, plus 2 hours closer. Plenty of time to decide, I'm just waiting on my wife to get her schedule.

Had some fun modding the bike today since a bunch of stuff arrived.

    -Skid plate
    -fork stickers
    -FMF Exhaust
    -wrap around hand guards
    -front and rear rotor guards
    -grab handle for the rear
    -bigger rear brake “pedal”
-some red replacement cover, idk what it actually is but it looks cool.

I’ve got a handlebar bag and front fork handle arriving today, some graphics next week and then I think that’s it. I wasn’t planning on extra levers because of the wrap around hand guards but I could be wrong thinking it’ll protect them.

Gonna rock these until I get a flat. I do have an extra tube and stuff to change it on the trail though.

With the handguards I imagine it's very difficult to snap levers. I never have come close and my bikes take A LOT of dirt naps.

I went with zeta folding levers even though i have barkbusters because i’ve seen people wreck hard enough to twist the handguard up and still break a lever, super unlikely but possible apparently

Yeah folding levers aren't bad to have but I typically don't carry spares.

Never broke a folding lever so i dont have spares either

EDIT: actually, i do have one spare brake lever for the DRZ and a full set of spare stock levers for the TW200 (bought by accident and kept for JIC), but this is what the DRZ lever looks like:

lmao dirt naps. I also plan on doing a tip I saw online, where you put teflon tape under your brake/clutch mounts and have them a hair loose so under a hard hit they can rotate. Hopefully between the two I'll be alright.

Ah, I completely brain farted on the wrap around hand guards.

I run my mounts tight enough i can still move them by hand and been good for a long time riding mx with no hand guards.

just sucks when its time to go home early because of a broken lever haha

That'd probably work too, or honestly just loosen up the handles a smidge and start partying.

I dont think i’d trust the teflon personally. I’ve never heard of anyone adding a friction modifier like that. But plenty of people only tighten their controls 75-90% so they can move, that seems pretty normal

Can we get a closeup picture of the “Dude Dad” sticker on the toolbox lid please?

    Thanks in advance
