Definitely do, but a friend of mine had 295/70r17 on their 4Runner and I don’t think they even needed a cmc, sooo.

Yeah I traded it in. They lowballed the shit out of me at first with a $33k offer. I laughed when he came back with that and showed him my two offers from other dealerships for $38.5. They immediately matched it. It was on the lower end of KBB trade in but I’m happy with it.

Depending on wheel spec you can get away with stuff. The wife’s 4runner cleared 285/70/17 without doing anything. I only did a cmc and some trimming after we added wheel spacers because then it started rubbing

I don't know what you are talking about...we have all been here for the "light, nothing too crazy" modification of Betty White and the "not a build" Tundra...

Hey now, to be fair, I kept the tundra mild. I never changed the suspension on it or increased tire size or anything like that. I held out for (almost) two whole years.

It's the only way I'd drive an FJ Cruiser.

He's local to Salt Lake / Utah when I was living there until recently. It's even more of a beast in person.

In the snow? yes. On pavement? nah.

When it went up for sale I was tempted, but the price was too high.

Upon closer inspection, it has a 1/2” spacer up front, lifting it 1”. Very pleased with the purchase.
