What’s interesting is this year we’re on track back down to $16k. I’m guessing last year was high because of the cross country move.

Finished dealing with the last of the rubs on the Tundra, AKA "Shadow". Removed the muds flaps and are good to go! Cleared 34.3" tires without having to cut a thing!

Ride feels stock and the noise level isn't bad either! So far I am super impressed with the Wildpeaks.

Man, I was internally panicking during that. First ever wheeling trip in Betty.

Do any outdoor activities before 8am if you don’t want to sweat, and after 8pm if you don’t mind sweating a bit! I play pickleball a few evenings a week, and it’s still triple digits when I’m starting.

I feel like I’m becoming an Arizonan because it was 110° earlier and I was outside with my wife like “This isn’t too bad.”

 

Meanwhile it gets 86 here and I'm drenched in sweat after 15 minutes.

Yeah, but that humidity is absolutely killer. It's so stinking dry here, it's crazy. Doesn't make it any less cool, but it does make a difference in how it feels, it's interesting. Regardless, if you're in the sun, anything over 85 here is toasty.

 

So do Arizonians just have a 55 gallon drum of sunscreen to dip in, or do you have to do it manually every day?

 

I just stay the hell inside between the hours of 9-4 because the UV index is too high, and it's just too hot. Plus UPF shirts and sun hats are our friends, I rarely use sunscreen because I hate how it feels.

 

It puts the lotion on its skin or it gets the hose again!!

 

My dad just added a third boat to his fleet. Me gusta. Me gusta a lot.
