If it is that'd be great! Judging by the other pictures I don't think it is thoigh.

I'll have to check it out after dinner. I'm thinking with some fans it'd be bearable! Or even leaving the hatch open and fashion up some sort of mesh cover to keep bugs out.

Ok maybe I don't like contractor caps that much. There's just something about them!

Dang!! That'd be nice. @Lots2Learn58 has a black shell on his blue truck, and I couldn't even tell at first. It's that close on color. Keep your eyes peeled for a black one too!

I want a half height contractor cap. Dry storage, and strong enough for a RTT.. but no one has any interest in that.. Maybe I should invent it

Hmm, that'd be pretty cool. With mini windoors juuuust high enough to open and reach stuff at the front of the bed.

I was trying to get all of my photos off and go to Flickr, but PB is so buggy that it barely worked!

I definitely do not have the fab skills to do that, bit I think that'd be a super cool idea.
I know!!! I use photobucket exclusively on my Subaru forum, so the 7 DIYs that I posted over there are useless now. It's such a PITA.
Right? Literally the only thing I used it for was 3rd party hosting.

Man, that's super slick!! Seems pretty easy too, minus growing the balls to cut a giant hole in the roof of the shell.

if your shopping for alu shells, its nice to find some with square windows, its easier to shop for slide windows with swingouts which is a project in the coming weekend when i shop for struts. I love my cap, alu is significantly lighter than the glass tops but it comes down to preference. Good luck on your search if you have not found one.

here is my cap, about 60 lbs with the insulation

I dig it! Did you buy the cap used? What does that style go for price wise?
