Yup. I have to. I am getting ready for 9 state surveys next week so it is keeping me busy.

I'm just to damn cheap to pay some $90/hour for stuff i can do myself and on top of that the guy doing the working is probably not even getting a 3rd of it. That's what really infuriates me.

That would be me. I will much rather save some money & spend somewhere else. I also like the peace of mind knowing I took it apart & put it back together without the worry of anything being left loose or off.

I usually bring over the mechanic from work and we bullshit, have a couple beers, and cook some steaks. I like having a second set of hands and might as well have some experience. I have offered $$ but he won't take it. He just says sell me the truck when your done.

Got to shake a 4-star admirals hand and have a short conversation with him today. For anyone unaware, that's the highest rank you can achieve in the military, and he's a huge deal. It was pretty cool! And now we're eating cake.

At least you are inside. I am working on a future parking lot, under the hard sun, and dealing with all the ideas of my bosses (yes bosses, 3 bosses, with 3 differents opinions). Too many chiefs, not enough indians! But I know that when I'll be done here, the parking will be beautiful haha

Yeah, after AOAA. Ideally it'd be around noon to try and miss the shitshow that is traffic. If not I'll just have kara do it later in the day.

I should be able to make it. Text me, and if I dont answer in 10 minutes, call. I will wake up if I hear the call.

This is how it used to be when I was on night shift. I would work 8pm-8am. Sleep until 12 noon, then be awake for 2-3 hours. Then take a 3 hour nap, and do it all over again. If you didnt call, then I wouldnt hear it.

Getting sleep on night shift is rough! I have to take melatonin. Also I'll just see if Kara can do it, since her car gets better mileage and will be less of an inconvenience.
