@fatfurious2 did you see SOS concepts is doing a 20% off sale? May be a good time for a bed rack.

yea, so...... you suck! I think Im going to order this. I need to go measure where I want the bars to be. 14" above the bed rails is where he makes them. And 8 weeks gives me plenty of time to sell my cap.

its only an 8 hour drive down there. And a chance to meet the SC guys. :goingcrazy:

I wonder if @Mobtown Offroad will mod it for me when I get back?

You'll be disowned by them FOREVER!

Their shipping is cheap though. I quoted how much it is to ship a high clearance rear here, and it's $160. It may be cheaper to just get it shipped.

they quoted me $140 for shipping for the rack.

Why do you never want to go anywhere? You dont want to go to the Black Mountain meet, dont want to drive to SC to save shipping, and meet cool people. Remember, winter up here, in the south its always summer.

Because it's far as shit, and my truck gets 13 mpg, is noisy in the cab, and my seats suck (which translates into a sore butt and lower back). It's ~500 miles away, so at 13 mpg and $2.60 a gallon, that's $100 in fuel alone. Driving 16 hours to save $40 just isn't worth it IMO. I'll make a farther drive but the end goal needs to be worth it. Like the Appalachian round up would be well worth the far drive.

Been playing catch up cleaning around the house. We have gotten behind the last few weeks with the arrival of the little one. It is nice to have empty sinks and be able to see the table again.

I did wipe down the dash and door panels in the truck yesterday to complete the refresh of the new stereo install. The water was black when I finished. It was long over due. I also learned a nifty trick. I used a clean micro fiber wash mitt to wipe things down. It did a superb job of trapping and removing the dust. The dash still look a freshly wiped today with very little dust resettling on it.

Sprinklers are easy. Trenching for them is the worst part. (I highly recommend renting a large trencher from HD). I have put in several systems. My sister even flew me to Phoenix to do hers I was able to design, trench, and install the whole thing in a weekend. I also recommend sprinklerwarehouse.com for all your heads, valves, and a timer. (I saved a couple hundred dollars when I installed my system by ordering those items from them, vs the local supply house) If you have questions, holla at me!

That would make it better, but it's also a lot harder for me to take time off. For example, if I want to go farther than 300 miles from my home I need to submit paperwork and get approval.
