That sounds rough! It's too bad you can't just put it on the trailer fully assembled.

I would! But trailer is too small... at least it is the plastic model and not the one in sheets of metal with 1 billons screws lol

He was just asking if you could stick weld a bumper together, but I was saying I'd think it'd come down to the welder and how much power you could pump through it as opposed to the type of welding. I personally just bought this one to weld together various random brackets on the truck.

    Good point! That'd really suck.

I recommand to dump that shitty brush/hammer combo and get yourself real ones, and also dump that face shield and get an automatic mask! You need both hands to weld, it is not nice to try to hold that crap in front of your face lol

Aha of course! I already bought a decent fixed shade mask and some gloves, and I already have a nice wire brush to use. Those "extras" are going in the trash.

If you can afford I would get the Porter Cable 7424XP. By far best out there. It's is a dual action random orbital buffer. You can control the speed settings and everything. A bit more pricey but worth it because you cannot mess up your paint job with it.

You can weld bumpers with a stick welder assuming they're powerful enough. Comes down to what the machine says itll do as well as the duty cycle.

She changed her mind lol and will ask a friend for a price to build one. The display one was a little damaged and still 800$.... wtf lol i am willing to help to build the new one but i am not good enough with wood to take the lead. So instead of a shed I am headding with my father (also hunting partner) to our 2nd hunting spot to see whats going on and install trail cams!

GM Lair! Not much on tap here today. I need to finish planting a tree, and then my wife and I will be dropping the oldest off this afternoon/evening with family to enjoy a nice dinner out together to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary! Man, time flies!!
