I tightened them as far as i could get them to go by hand. But i can get some extentions and the air wrench in there

 

You could put the smaller bushing on top?

 

I told him no bushings because metal-metal= bad

Agreed that thick on top is better. You should see if there's a solution in the thread about them.

 

Honestly, i think its because the center smallest insert is too goddamb long. It stuck out about an 1/8th inch or more when the bushing was completely assembled in my hand. Thats probably what makes them too tall. But you have to take the entire thing apart to get that barrel out to cut it down

 

remember its not a tacoma specific bushing. Its universal, so they will probably say nothing.

yea.. and they do. Put a socket on that sleeve, and mallet it back up in there
