I could eat tacos...or pizza every day. No special day required for them to land on the menu!

@Kemosabe didnt want my $18 USD, so I am paying the contractor $9500 to finish my basement. Merry Christmas to me. Not going to be able to do any mods or anything until spring.

    How big is your basement?

I am in the process of finishing mine, which is about 1350 sq ft. Just for the framing and HVAC duct work I have spent $4700, and my dad and I dropped about $800 at Lowes on Friday for the electrical rough in and I still need a few fixtures and waffer lights so that total will end up a little over 1k... Still need to rough in the plumbing, run rigid gas line for BBQ grill, and fire place upstairs, insulate, sheetrock, mud, tape, paint, trim, flooring....blah, blah, blah. It feels like a never ending list right now!

yes. 30amp circuit, 115v plug. Not the 220. That Hobart welder runs from a normal plug. Justin has it, so I was able to check it out in person

Nice! 30 amps is a lot of juice. You'll be able to weld entire vehicles together with one bead :muscleflexing:

I have 30 amp, 240V I ran to my garage for my 60 gal air compressor. But I am now considering selling the compressor because I would much rather use a 1/2" cordless impact for working on my vehicles.

220 sq feet. I am doing recessed LED dimmable lights, dedicated outlet on one wall for the TV, insulation, drywall, and Pergo floors (which I still need to choose the color). I am also getting the above outlet added to the garage, and getting my foyer in tile. I need to choose my grout color.

Who knew there was so much design in this stuff. I thought they just had code to follow. But I could choose where I want my plugs..

the specs of the welder require at least 20 amps. I want to have more than enough.

Man that's a good chunk of change! but it makes sense I suppose, material times 2 is pretty much what a quote is haha I know flooring and tile can add up real quick! I'm on a single income that's why its taking so long to be able to buy a house! trying to save while I pay rent and pay off debts is hard af! oh and modding the truck doesn't help hahahaha but at least I can do all the work myself so I would be saving some money there in the end.

hahaha fair enough that's what I figured!
