    On another note. The bikes on the pics dont have peddles. Is that normal with a $1600 bike?

    Everything TW members recommend
    Most cyclists looking at bikes in that price range usually have a favorite style of clipless pedal, which is why the manufacture usually leaves out the pedals. The bike shop will usually throw in an inexpensive pedal for the “test drive” in the parking lot that you can usually take home with the bike.

    hesitant on buying another nice bike, had my specialized enduro stolen when i locked it up in front of the bike lodge for a few hours while i grabbed lunch. was a shame.

    Mine came with pedals!!

    But I just reused my old ones

    Because the cages I have on them were a PITA to get on and didnt want to mess with swapping them
