    Draco's a German Wirehair Pointer, with what I suspect is some black lab in him based on his colors. GWP don't come in black as a factory option. Very similar to a Griffon Pointer though.

    Are the Wirehairs as spazy/high energy as the GSP?? I think the GSP's would be too much for me.
    I have been telling myself for the last 3-4 years that a Griffon is my next dog.

    I adopted Draco last year a a 6 year old, and he's pretty tame but he can be a little crackhead if I don't walk him 2x a day at least. I'll usually run him next to my bike around the local singletrack and that'll tucker him out. I shudder to think what he was like as a 1 year old though.
