Huh. Well they should get their story straight cause that's what I was told earlier from their customer service. I hope you're right.

Did you go with driving lights or fogs?

I wish mods wouldnt remove posts. Sometimes an example of what not to do is a good thing.

The COC is a guideline to follow. No examples needed if you adhere to what is expected of you.

Sometimes it is not the mods. The difference between SAE J583 and SAE J581 is called out in the original thread. But there is so much content I think it is easily overlooked.

Just an update on the Morimoto ambers I installed. I adjusted partially by instruction from a Morimoto vendor on another thread and partially by preference. Although the beam could be taller, after adjusting i'm somewhat satisfied and have decided to keep them for now. I'm not one to run foglights all the time. I usually turn them on when there is fog or sometimes when the Pacific Northwest Rain / mist is heavy. Have yet to have some fog in my area so it will be interesting to see how they perform. On another note, i know this has nothing to do with fogs but the H9's low beams in rain / mist perform absolutely great. Picture quality isn't the greatest as i was headed out the door for work.

    Test Equipment Update
I use a smart digital spectrometer, and the latest revisions of iOS are no longer compatible with the equipment. The equipment manufacture just had their lighting test division acquired near the same time the problem occurred, and the new owners don't know how to resolve the problem and have provided no support or timeline, which has left me in a difficult spot. The older iOS .ipsw image files are no longer signed by Apple making an iOS rollback not possible on the 3 devices I have on hand. I've also tried resurrecting old iOS hardware and found the device to now be a brick. To work around the issue I've ordered a brand new 'old stock' iOS device which will ship with an older iOS version installed that will be compatible with the equipment, it should be here Monday. The new device won't resolve the issue that I have years of data collected in a database that is now inaccessible (hopefully temporarily), but it should allow me to move forward in testing a bunch of backlogged lights I have waiting on hand. To say this experience has been frustrating is a significant understatement.

That sucks! Hopefully it is only temporary and you can regain access to all that data. Thanks again for all you contribute.

Some have made contributions in the past via PayPal to help offset testing expenses and/or buy a beer. :) I don't ask for handouts but certainly wouldn't turn any contributions down. People can PM me for PayPal info.

Nice patterns! Just out of curiosity, is that the 3rd gen LED or projector headlights?
