No, not fully adjusted. This morning was a test run. There is really only so much adjustment in these. What you are seeing is bleed over, not the cut-off.

yea, i hear adjusting settings are limited but DD confirmed its possible to adjust them to the proper fog height. i can't say much about adjusting difficulty since i don't have a 3rd gen but i trust DD's r&d. =P

i see the bleed but more so the cut off is rising with distance and going over the green fence. i can see where the fog beams cut off mid window on the SUV, brick wall, and trees. the beam rises and hits the stop sign. no biggie, just hope you can sort it out haha. tbh, the fog pattern should probably be at the height of the tire on the white SUV

The intensity and width are amazing. Happy aiming!

Are these photos exposure locked? If they're not, no offense but they are worthless as a comparison.

They were taken with an iPhone9 and I never proclaimed to be a photographer. Maybe you could buy a set and contribute something more useful than bashing someone’s photo skills. I was just trying to give members a general idea of the DD SS3 Pro fogs intensity and output.

I could have worded that better and apologize.

If you take a photo with your camera/phone using its general setting it will try to make the exposure consistent(brightness appears same in all photos) , which I why your headlights appear to be the same brightness as the fog lights, when in reality the fogs alone are much brighter than the head lights.

In most newer phones the camera app has a manual or pro mode. Using this you set the aperture to be locked, as well as the iso. Then take a photo of your headlights and change the shutter duration to match roughly what you see with your eyes, this sets the baseline to compare brightness between headlights, fogs+headlights, etc. Take all pictures with aperture, iso, and shutter speed locked.

You read three thousand posts in this thread and that's what you decided to contribute? Classic random person bitching for no reason in a thread.

    TW Thread checks out..

    Nice!

Do you guys have any plans to bring a true amber colored fog to market?

Probably not - mainly because amber doesn't really fall within the selective yellow color requirement for fog lights, so we couldn't offer it with an SAE stamp. But also because dark amber provides much less usable light output.

For off-road use, a yellow lens cover on our yellow pod does provide an amber output if you're looking to match things up for cosmetics.

It’s really cool how quickly you guys at DD respond to messages on this thread. I mean, I know you have a vested interest in promoting your products (there is absolutely nothing wrong with that) but it’s still really helpful to get answers when you’re trying to make a decision about a purchase.

Kudos to DD!! @Diode Dynamics
