Not too many details released yet!

There will be a flush mount option. However, they will not be compliant as rear fog lamps or anything like that.

Some douche canoe popped me with his roof mounted lightbar last night for "funzies". Jefferson Country Sheriff 1/2 mile behind me was not amused!

I can't wait to see the SSC1's when they come out! I hope they will have a back light option like the SSC2 does. So many options to use a little light like that!

Given just the teaser photo I can about 90% guarantee that there will be a backlight option! Looks like that is probably a white backlit one. Hindsight 20/20 they probably should have showcased maybe an amber backlight on that teaser photo to drive that point home?

Am I the only one who thinks that the front bezel looks a little too busy for a single chip light? I understand it ties it in with the larger pods, I just think it would look a bit cleaner with just the corners chamfered.

Does look a little busy. I figure if I stare at it long enough with it on, after a while it won’t make much difference anymore.

    Question for y’all.

Currently have the rigid SAE D series fogs with yellow covers.
Would selling them and getting a pair of diode dynamics SS3 Pro’s be a good upgrade to give me more brighter lighting?

Substantially, yes. I’d have to dig through the thread, but compare the measurements with the covers vs the selective yellow Pros, and there is no comparison. The Pros will also give you a wider pattern area and run hotter to prevent icing.

Nice. that was another thing i was wondering was if they would give me a little bit more of a wider pattern.
now to just see if i can find someone interested in my rigid’s. What do you think a good selling price would be for the lights brackets covers and the adapter harness??

    Thanks!

60 degrees on the Rigid vs 90 degrees on the Pro, so yes much wider as well.

I’m thinking the only way I’ll find out if the SS3’s will fit the SLEE inserts on my ARB is biting the bullet and buying a pair! The Rigid’s have served me VERY well over these past few years.

And in today’s episode of “GarlicFarts makes an example of what not to do”, we feature putting H11 halogen bulbs in the stock TRD OR halogen housings fit for an H16.

So you had to cut down the brackets height? Are you currently running them?
