    ditto.

Will the SSC1 have the back lights like the SSc2?

I like my SSC2's a lot. The pros are brighter than my SS3 sports for sure.

Thanks @crashnburn80 for all the work you put into this excellent thread. I have DD SS3 yellow Pros on the way because of you. The Max was a little too much for me to spring for, for occasional fog/snow use, but I think the Pros will be great for my needs.

Planning on picking up a set of the fog sports to compliment my rx350 projector build. Any reason to really step up to the pros or Max's? The projectors are already going to put out so much light I have a hard time justifying the extra money for even more light...

I don't think so, the pros and max are going to overshadow any whiteness the HIDs have and make everything seem yellow. At least that's what I've seen from the pics people post. Even the Sports do this a little to my HID's but not as bad as the pros/max. That is if you are getting selective yellow.

I'm planning on running white. I'm not a yellow fan.

If your going to run them during general everday driving and not just for bad weather or trail use, get the white sports. For a 4000k warmer white, get the yellow fogs and swap over to a clear lens. If running high color temp headlights and fogs, i would imagine that would be alot of eye strain.

Yeah I run 4300k headlights. Maybe I will do that.

Oh then that 4000k would be much closer to your HIDs. That would be my choice as well. I run the 4000k in driving linked to my high beams and its great.

found it. so if you want 4000k emitters, Sports or Pros are your only choice.

Assuming you are running the stock wattage version, you'd get significantly better performance from Philips Racing Vision bulbs, vs those fully coated VisionX super white bulbs. You can see my review of the latest Philips Racing Vision +200 bulbs in post #3169 here.

Sports are not as good as Pro or Max at melting any snow/ice that may build up on them
seeing that you're from Colorado that may be a concern or not

Yes, the max has the same emitters for both colors and a unique darker lens for the yellow lamps (yellow only available in fog optic).

Honestly I would have however I bought a case of these for 2$ a set so I just throw them out when I need to. If and when I actually do drive the truck at night, I drive with the fogs on for the most part and those are more than enough. When I blow through the 10 or so sets I have I'll switch over to the Racing Vision bulbs.
Thanks for the insight - I didn't even know those existed.
