    Thanks for the amazing review.

Would love to put the Rigid led fog pods on my civic, but unsure of how to mount them. Does anyone have any suggestions? Circled in the picture is where I like them to be placed. Also, would hanging them upside down create the same beam pattern?

Can you try to refuse acceptance so you dont have to pay return shipping?

Welcome! I get plenty of non-Tacoma lighting questions.

Quick google search doesn’t return anything helpful, this looks like you would have to make/figure out your own mount. I’m guessing all that up front is just plastic, you’d want to mount these to some type of metal base, otherwise on a plastic mount you’d get lots of beam bouncing.

The Rigids can be run upside-down although that will mean the branding on the front is also upside-down. You can also position the mount to go straight out the back for a rear mount for other mounting options.

I don't know how I missed this post, but thank you for the excellent information and testing of the fog light products. Good fog lights make a huge difference at night in rainy conditions and in the thick fog that is common in the morning on the hill I live on. I currently have the KC Gravity G4 amber fogs retrofitted onto my ARB bumper. I initially hesitated due to the price, but they are significantly better than the ARB units though I am interested in what Baja Designs will come out with.

Nice! Looks very clean. ARBs bumper light terminology is very confusing, they call their bumper lights driving/fog lights, which are exact opposite patters. The ARB lights are a high beam driving light (not fog), so switching to a true fog light for your use case should have a major performance improvement as it is actually the needed pattern for what you are trying to accomplish.

Just installed my Amber KCs and seems like no matter which way I turn the aiming screws they still shoot way high.

Are the mounting tabs seated properly? I know it sounds silly but sometimes we have had people with the same issue only to find out that a tab or two was off somehow and that resolved it.

    Yeah I double checked that.
I did note that the tabs were very snug in openings. Seemed like the spring in the adjustment screw just kept pushing the lights back upwards.

Did you leave a stock fog in to have a comparison for the cut off line?

@crashnburn80 awesome writeup, most comprehensive fog light comparison I have seen.
Do you plan to add the upcoming Baja Design SAE fogs to the test?

Is the screw in the adjustment block? Not trying to be a smart ass!

Absolutely. And the amber Morimotos should be here any day now.

    Yes, I did do that.
Gonna revisit it when I get home from work in the morning.
