I'm still undecided on a ditch light 6db antenna or a roof mount 3db antenna.

Both, with a switch to switch between them.

Test fitting the NMO mount on the CBI ditch light. Racket and broke the NMO mount. Amazon cant have a new one here until next Friday. Oh well. In the mean time, while looking in the shop for the ditch light bracket, I found my old Bussmann fuse box and wiring that I didnt know I still had. Some I'm going to mens that up and get it ready to go back in the truck. I'll ge that mounted, get the radio mounted in the truck and get the ditch light bracket on and have it all ready for when the new cable gets here.

So I've done absolutely nothing to this thing since I said I was going to. Still have all the skid plates besides the front one sitting unpainted and uninstalled. And still have all the radio stuff sitting in a closet. Itll be a bit before I get to it all because I'm going to work on adding some shelving to the garage and organizing it over the next couple of weekends. I have 12' of shelves ordered to put across the front wall of the garage and I need to build a work bench as well as run some electrical for a wall mounted fan. Probably end up adding a 240v receptacle as well soon and bring a welder over from my dads shop. And I have some WalllControl panels as well as wall mounted bins to install above the work bench once I get it built. Hopefully I can knock out a good chunk of it this weekend and then install the new shelving next weekend and get back to working on the truck. In the mean time though, I'm really enjoying the TransGo shift kit. Took all the slipping out of the trans and really made my MPG shoot up. With the 265/75/16 KO2s I was getting about 15.5mpg consistently. Now that i have the shift kit, this is my last tank on the new 285/70/17 Toyos.
