    I'm almost 100% positive that it wont matter. I think there referring to the fact that these color choices are ones from 09. These grills should fit no problem.

    Tacoma Grill - OEM Genuine Toyota Painted 2009+ (53100-04410)

    These are Genuine Toyota grills.
    We have made these available on our website for those wanting to switch out their chrome, or gray Tacoma grill.

    These are the only colors available for the 2009+ model years, you may not see your color, as they did not make the Sport or Xrunner in some colors, sorry.

    I think they only said that because of the new colors they introduced in '09 such as the timberland green, magnetic gray, etc. Good to know, thanks neon when i get a little bit more money I'm gonna buy one instead of having to keep spraying mine over and over again with the rattle can.
