Not sure exactly when the next time I will be home is. I will be in Lake Havasu for Thanksgiving.

When I had the 4.88's I was running 31's. I know I know I know that's no bueno no go. HOWEVER. For the exception of full time off road use 4 cylinder trucks (and I'm talking a loose exception) it is generally not recommended to run 4.88's even when running 33's, unless of course you have a rear end with 31 spline axles, and then you can run 35's go for it. For your application Josh don't run 4.88's. It's your daily, and it's your romper. Who ever is pressing 4.88's to you is not considering that, and is also not considering the fact the axles are 28/29 spline (can't remember right meow) and 4.88 is way too damn high.

On another note, everything was put back together last night, and the tires were put on. The truck looks awesomeO. And performance wise. Well let me just say the 4.56's and 33's are a match made in heaven. @70 MPH (Cali freeway speed limit) the engine runs at about 25/26k rpms. Uphill is a thing of the past, and oh did I mention the truck looks awesomeO? The humming in the rear end is gone, and having some real traction now the locker engages so damn smoothly I forget I have it.

As mileage gets put on the tires and the gears I will provide reviews here on my thread. Pictures will be coming up shortly.

since its your dd i would do 4.56

all the LT guys said got 80% off road and 20% on road i should go 4.88 at the least. they all said they would go 5.29s. hah

just figured i would throw that out there

Thanks man. Feels so damn good to have everything proportional now. Glass hood/bedsides, paint, supercharger, and I'm done...ok not "done" but taking a break.

I almost went with the geolander's myself, but dollar for dollar I had to go with Kumho. The tire I wanted was Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac's but they have been on national back order since May of this year. You might want to consider going bigger than 31...Outkast can attest I've been beating myself up for going that size in the first place.

Thanks dude. I feel so much better about it now. At this point I have to start putting some focus on maintenance before Truckvember comes around cause I'm trying to get my glass then. Take your time deciding on the tires, and get exactly what you want...even if you can't make up your mind :p

whats the difference between a 31 and 33? I'm gonna be getting a spacer lift for my truck pretty soon and install it before i Ship out to BCT but gonna wait to get rims and tires until after AIT. then later on a TC UCA lift with Icon shocks

...2 inches. 305/70 is 33x12. 265/75 is 31.5x10. Save your money dude if your going to basic. All that time w/ no g ride and no where to spend that money that spacer lift won't be doing much...just my .02.

They're pretty nice dude. They fit a little bit loose. I was a little disappointed that toyota didn't have some sort of tie down to make it a little more form fitting. They ran me just under 2 hundo, so for how they looks, and the material I was willing to walk away from the money  It's funny because I went to the dealership to get floor mats.....got a link to the Coverking's?
