I put it down two different times, because of what you just said.

For some reason I get the lock turning almost a full quarter each time I set pins again after resetting them. I think I'm oversetting pin 3 in going back and forth between 4 and 2 again.

Was super happy I opened it though

Rest of my order came in!

Sparrow picks which include TOK wrenches as well as an Abus driver and diamond pick.

Going to take me a bit to get used to using them, but I could say the same about BOK wrenches since I'm not long into this hobby.

Anyway, thought I'd play with my comb pick on that new Abus I got.

As much fun as this lock is, considering the great feedback it provides, it can easily be defeated within seconds.

Think I'll use this as one of my practice locks for my TOK wrenches.

They're the right amount of 'fun' without the frustration.

Got a Master Lock 875 on the way so I can practice using the decoder; it's one of those 4-digit combination locks.

I haven't posted here in awhile, but that's not to say I stopped picking.

I've since bought another few Brinks and Abus locks to practice my single pin picking, but my latest is a Master Lock 570.

What makes this different is that it has what's called a dead core.

Uses 5 pins, 4 being spool and 1 being serrated so technically it should be the hardest to pick in my collection.

    One minute later -

Anyway, highly recommend picking one of these up for single pin picking! Not like you can use a comb pick anyway. Apparently some people spend hours on this thing, so I may get another here soon to get a different picking experience out of it.
