    Last Monday, the 13th, Meet up at the only grocery store in graingeville.

    Lisa had spotted a trail called the Elk City Wagon Trail. Roughly 40 miles of rutted 2-track to begin our day.

    Unfortunately, after we finished the Elk city Wagon trail we had to get back onto the pavement for a while to head for the Nez Perce trail. The Nez Perce trail is what most folks call the Magruder because this trail is situated in the Magruder Corridor. A 200 yard wide corridor, separating two huge wilderness areas.

    At the trailhead we are checking out the posted warnings and fire status reports. The reports talked about 3 main fires which turned out to be more like 12 or so fires. :eek:.

    Next up was the side trail up to Burnt Knob. This 1.5 mile long section turned out to be the most challenging trail conditions on our whole trip. :D

    We had considered camping up at the top but a couple of ATVers were up there first so we headed back down to the main road to look forr another spot.
