Sweet. I have the 18 in my taco. I get really good reception. Bestplace to buy accessories is a truck stop.

OH MY GOD! making the 9 foot coax cable reach was retarded! 10-11 feet would have been amazing, but it works! pics tomorrow!

trust me.... I'm an electrician first of all......don't hook it up to your fuse box. hook it up to your battery. If you hook it up to your fuse box, you will get all sorts of interference from your ecu, fuel pump, alternator, etc. If you hook it up to your battery, you will get considerably less interference and more performance. Also..... don't just coil your excess coax cable under your carpet in a circular shape... if will act as a RF choke. Take a couple of tie wraps and wrap it up like a figure 8. make sure your cable crosses each other at a 90 degree angle if you know what I mean.... as in a figure 8. get your radio tune also. Your stock cb ONLY puts out a whopping 4 watts. I have a uniden pc78 elite putting out 20 watts. Stock wattage= 3-4 miles TX------ 15-20 watts= 20+ miles. You WON'T be sorry you tuned your radio. Or if you want, leave your radio at stock wattage and get an linear if you like. Hope this helps.
