I think that I will very installing the RC tonneau hard cover on my SR5. I have watched a ton of video, followed leads to find products aren't produced for the tacoma, that would make it easier to create the look I want. Along with the utility of a truck. My goal is to have my cake and eat it too. Today the back rack looks like the best option to install a headache rack. The dilemma I have is that I don't want to put any additional holes in my truck. My solution is to utilize the forward channel, that I had to purchase, and develop a mounting plate to secure the rack.
Please tell me what you think. Or ideas.

I am beginning to understand why the tacoma world has an elite membership. The big 3 trucks attract spin-off accessories where it seems as though the tacoma has to prove itself. I am looking forward to the challenges that come with the drive.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Pop your bed rail covers off and look at the top of the bed. You may have some holes you can use to mount the headache rack.

what exactly are you trying to accomplish with the headache rack? are you looking for the functionality of the mesh cab protection, or the aesthetics of having a roll bar, but with a hard top cover?

Op hasn’t responded but I have had the same want of having a headache rack, mainly for auxiliary lights, and cb antennas

If you are unable to fabricate yourself draw what you need depending where you live many members can make what you desire.

So many different options to design what you want.

After bouncing firewood off the rear cab window I knew I was living on borrowed time before it was replaced with card board.
