Well TacomaWorld, since @trdsport6 has made a build thread, i gotta keep up with him and join in.

My name is Kiah (pronounced Ky) and I'm from Asheville, NC (I'm not one of those asheville weirdos) I go to school up at Western Carolina University to major in Entrepreneurship.

My truck is a 2007 Access Cab PreRunner. I've done a little here and a little there and a whole lot more to come. Bought the truck in april 2014 with 69,000 on it and since then the modding ain't stopped. She now has 135,000 (Jan2018). And when I found out about TacomaWorld, my wallet has been dry as a bone.

What I have done to it already consists of:
Aftermarket headlights as well as tail lights
@CaliRaisedLed 32" light bar in my lower grill and LED pods as my fog lights
Replaced all halogen bulbs with LED's
Trailer harness relocation to the bumper
    Katskinz leather seats with heat
Wheels: originally had 16" alloys, then 16x9 KMC Enduro wheels, currently: 17" premium Toyota wheels
Tires: original were Sailun 245's from toyota dealer, 245 KO, then 265 KO2, 265 terra grapplers, 285 ridge grapplers and is by far the most perfect tire I have ever ran.
Suspension: had a 2" level, now have a 3" supreme level
Last but certainly not least, a new rear differential thrown in at 98,000 as well as a new driveshaft.

Soon to come: All sorts of stuff. Who knows what else will be done to the mighty Tacoma. Let the adventure begin

Looking good! I'm searching for a similar grill for my '05 (currently stock grill with chrome/black, wanting color matched trim and black mesh), did you buy it complete somewhere? Thanks!

Carolinas got the best girls, and the best trucks

The grill is a grillraft from Carid, and the colormatch surround is factory toyota and came with the black plastic too. My dad and I went at it with a saw cutting apart the brand new grill to put the grillcraft in. Fairly easy. Just trim away the inner plastic. Less complicated than the raptor style grills I think. I've gotten a lot of compliments on my grill too. It's really durable. Hit a deer a few months ago and messed my headlight up and bumper but the grill we fine!

Right back at ya boss man!!! Yours is going to be kick ass!

Thx for the info, Kiah, I've looked at the grillcraft. Not sure if it's worth the cost to have the chrome trim on the grill painted silver, might have to black it out with plastidip for now! No more chrome! Headlights & wheels going dark next! Gotta keep the old girl looking sharp :)

No problem! If you really wanted to ditch it without buying a new grill you could always try and color match your self. The cans aren't that expensive size. I feel ya, the only thing left in chrome is my rear bumper. Might vinyl wrap it.. I'm not sure

Haha, love these!! Me and you need to be pals man, lol. I've got the exact YMM and color truck and have done almost the same mods (great minds...). I need to start a build thread soon. Few questions... The wheels, any more info, name/links? Looking at the 3/1 kit from Supreme Suspensions soon... did you self install, replace OEM shocks? Lastly, would you recommend the tires for everyday city/hwy drive? I'm looking for the right wheel/ tire combo to upgrade mine this year. Sorry to bombard you with questions. Thanks man!!

Haha definitely man! My Instagram is kiah_ballard if you've got one. Haha Great minds think alike. They are 17" Stealth Custom Series SR8's and are a pain in the ass to purchase because he gets limited quantities but well worth It. The tires are 285/70/17 nitto ridge grapplers and wouldn't want a different tire. I've had a set of BFG KO's and KO2's and hated both of them. I had terra grapplers for a little while and got these ridge grapplers and wouldn't go for anything else. They ride great, they perform great, and there is zero road noise I just did a 3" supreme level and sumo springs in the rear. The truck rides a little stiffer, but I often pull trailers and haul stuff so it smoothed it out better for pulling and it's less stress on the factory suspension Plus it meant that I didn't have to put a block or anything like that in the rear I still have factory shocks and springs, I just put a 3" spacer on top of the front assembly. Installed everything myself. Hey man that's what this place is for !

Thanks I was looking at your thread and that truck is badass! I think I’m going to follow your footsteps as far as lift goes. I’m tired of the spacer life and sumo springs. Wanna do it right. I love the SCS wheels! They ain’t like moto’s or fuels and are honestly the most perfect wheel I’ve ever seen for a Tacoma
