I wouldn't feel so bad if they were 2 years old but I just put these AT3's on a month and a half ago.IMG_0224.jpg

Plug will outlast the tire. Do it yourself. I have put six in a single cut and was able to drive 50 miles in Baja to buy a used replacement tire to get home.

Fiy. Tire shops won't plug this one due to location.

Issue solved...ordered a replacement online and had it shipped to my local Sam's Club...forgot I had road hazard when I purchased the originals so it was pro rated....$20.00 to mount and balance and $2.00 for the new tire.

Good to hear, road hazard is a good deal when this happens. When I've worked in a tire shop you wouldn't believe some of the things you find in tires.

Ouch. Glad it only set you back $22. I've had two sets of tires pick up nails inside a month. Current set was < 1wk.

Location location location - used to be as long as not in sidewall, you were good… but now there are rules they pretty much eliminate the first outer row of tread too. As others have said, a plug will fix this. Glad you got it covered. I have had “mysterious” long screws show up in my tread. Thankfully in patchable areas, but still questionable origin. Generic cheap tire kit is a worthy roadside companion.
