    Initial drive with the mt/r kevlars, they're pretty quiet, just as quiet as th km2s at speed


    A little rougher at slower speeds but nothing drastic...gonna go drive around tomorrow more

    It's nothing really bad though, my dad drove my truck to pick me up in it after the tire swap and he wasn't bothered by it at all


    Note number two: my sock vinyl came in today too so ima retro my hood tomorrow

    Changing out the steering rack is a pita! Ive never done the bushings...I always thought that looked harder than changing the whole thing. Curious, but changing it out only takes a few hours..maybe save a lil and get to know the truck? Ive busted tie rods and shit, its not fun learning and changing them out in the field.
    Those kevlars are all around a "harder" tire than the km2s. I'll await how they work out for you. I dont think ive seen em on a taco down here....

    x2 I had 33" MTRs for 2 weks before my 35s....
    Just steering rack bushings??? They are NOT that bad to replace!! Buy them from wheelers and it'll take 1-2 hourse to slap em on... I just did mine about a month ago.

    drove around, drove around the coffeeland a little today, did some other stuff


    found that my tires rub my UCA at full lock now, which is interesting.....it looks like my alignment is off but the tire shop did the alignment...

    if anything it looks like I'm gonna be rocking a few wheel spacers now

    my ball joints are clicking :( One of them has a burst boot, I found grease leaking out, but I was planning on switching to uniballs anyways; I'm gonna MT the front eventually... ONE OF MY LCA BJ BOOTS IS TORN TOO... idk what I'm gonna do about that

    and spacers because for some reason my MT/R's rub the shit out of my UCA's now... no idea why

    I drove around my farm today and heard a loud squeaking, which corresponded to the rotation of my tires, after some investigating, I only squeaked at full turn, and eventually I found rubbage on my UCA. Got pics, i'll get em up in a sec


    They don't do anything in that department...I think

    MY DIFF IS STILL LEAKING :mad:
    took it to toyota twice so far, but they keep fucking up. Last time they gave me a BULLSHIT "Oh, it wasn't leaking, just that the diff seal we had in our parts log was covered in oil, and that was just the excess"

    but they said if it still leaked theyd try again for free
