Fords have always been my favorites. Gm and dodge are tied for me on mirrors. If I couldn't choose to own a ford or toyota. Definitely choose the dodge.

My dad has a 2011 powerstroke and I LOVE the tow mirrors on that. Ford was the first with power fold/extend mirrors and they are amazing. GM would be my next favorite, I just think the overall shape of them is better than dodge.

They are a beast! Our's is unfortunetly 100% stock but even stock its incredibly fast. 8000lb hot rod! We over load our axle a lot with this too and it handles it great. 4000lb camper and 5500lb boat on a 3 foot extension. Tongue weight is about 1000lbs with the hitch extension so we are over loaded by about 1000lbs.

It'll last at least 400k miles if he takes care of it. One thing I wish my dad would do is tune and delete it. Not for the power gains but get rid of the emissions crap on it and so I can monitor the turbo better, especially egt's

Man dude. I agree with you 100 percent. The power gains are just the icing on top of the cake. Not to mention the nice sound it'll produce with out the incinerator crap on the exhaust. Only problem I've heard with 6.7's not having to do with bad maintenance. Is that they have some valve rattles.

Really? Never heard of those. Main thing I have heard and this goes with all diesels, is that people don't let the EGT's cool down (supposed to be below 400 degrees) before they shut the truck off, and they blow the turbo. My neighbors 7.3 excursion did it in 48k miles.

No one understands that Diesel engines are a much different beast then gasoline cars. They think the only difference is that they can be much louder and blow black smoke all over a Prius. Which is all fun and games, but you gotta do extra maintenance and such to make them last. Even a 7.3 won't last if you don't know how to take care of it.

Yeah, I have no clue about how to care for a diesel. Would like to learn though, I'd get a Chevy, definitely better than dodge. For me Ford is meh

Working on an emblem for my grill. I hope it works. Don't think anyone will have one like it. This cold weather just makes it hard for me to do anything.

It's been dipping under zero the past couple nights. Nothin crazy. I'm just so tired of snow and don't want to deal with not feeling my hands until I bash it into something sharp under the hood. I just don't like cold that much
