There is a whole section and other references to things that represent the flag in the code

Thanks for flying the flag. Love it. Other than the color, our trucks are looking very similar.

Beautiful truck man! I originally wanted my trail edition to be army green but it was impossible to find one unless I wanted to pay a hefty markup. I'm very happy with Lunar Rock though, it looks much better in person compared to pictures and now I feel that it is on par with army green and not a step below it lol. Also, no reason to thank me for repping the flag, I just love this country

This the correct way to install the decal and it’s been this way for years. Do you think American Airlines would have it installed wrong? I worked there for 32 years and this came up a time or two I do know it got installed backwards one time and upon landing somebody had to fix that. Look at the cowling behind #2 engine inlet

Every time you see the flag carried stretched out horizontally/flat at a parade, sports event, whatever, that's a violation.

100% correct. It should always be displayed with the part of the flag that would touch a flag pole oriented forward. To the people who are confused about it just think about a flag that's up on a pole. If you move around to the other side of the pole, it is facing the same way

The only place flag etiquette is taught for adults is military. We are in the minority here as active duty or veterans. I think the trouble began in the 60s when it became fashionable to burn it or disrespect by making it into a shirt as did Abbie Hoffman. If you bother to read flag code it leaves nothing to question. So we see now all manner of free expression concerning the flag. The blue line, black line, skulls, peace signs, etc, etc. crazy as it sounds I put on a uniform once to ensure you have the right to be free and this includes flying the flag. Carry on gentlemen we are free

I also served and my uniform(s) did not have an american flag. Today my cub scouts uniforms have the flag with the stars facing towards the back.

I also am glad people can express them-selves and show their pride in as creative a way as they can imagine because “we served” to defend our constitution.

Thank you for your service, we wouldn't be free without it. I think flag etiquette should still be taught to those who don't know so it isn't lost, but it should not be forced on anyone because we are free to fly it however we want

Nope. The field always faces forward as if being carried into battle.
