The multi informational system On My ‘20 TRD OR is glitched?

I'm not one of those "5+" but as I said above it did happen to my 20 Sport.

 

That is EXACTLY what it made me think of!

 

Assembled in Mexico.....

 

This just happened to my 1 month old 2021 this morning. Turned off and one 3 times, still occurred. Came back out 2 hours later, worked fine. Bringing to dealer tomorrow to document.

 

I had this happen to ALL the screens in my former ‘20 BMW. Happened twice for a few seconds each time. Awesome feeling when EVERYTHING is a screen.

This is the kinda shit that’s gonna start happening with all the demand for all the needless tech in vehicles.

It’s a Japanese puzzle, made of parts from all over the world [majority in China], assembled in Mexico.
I highly doubt the screens/infotainment stuff is made in Mexico.

Assembled in Mexico/ connections made etc. Non of the ones assembled over here have had any of those issues that the new ones are having.

 

*that you know of. How many of these trucks are out there vs. how many of those owners post their problems here?

 

Ive seen more than a handful already on here and thats more than i can say of any of the previous years which is zero of this same issue. Not trying to argue. Just an observation.

Edit: Also seen some ppl complaining about this issue on some FB groups

Designed in Japan, built in China, assembled in Mexico, but the software was probably made in the US.

Good, cause the software, as we all know is quite flawless.

 

Not trying to argue either. Just sayin' that where they are assembled does not matter. All plants ultimately have to meet Toyota's QA/QC.
Plenty of 'Murican [and Canadian] assembled vehicles with gremlins and issues. You'll find stories on these forums of many American assembled Tacomas with issues, and many stories of NO issues from both assembly lines.
Saying that the issue is because the truck is assembled in Mexico is an ignorant statement.

 

I have run into it one time, was heat related dash was baking hot in direct sun when I got in one got going and it cooled off went away and have yet to run into it since but it did prompt me to finally start throwing up a sun shade

 

It was in the 60's here this morning when it happened.

Software managed in the US, made in India.

 

Yeap, dealer found nothing, but I wanted it documented
